Set up TandemDJ

  1. 1. Install: Open the ZIP and move TandemDJ.app into Applications, then launch it.
  2. 2. Connect Traktor: In TandemDJ, use “Install Traktor QML…” and follow its Terminal instructions with Traktor closed. The installer backs up the existing D2 mapping before replacing it.
  3. 3. Connect Canvas: Launch Traktor and Tandem MIDI Canvas on the same network, then add a DJ Display component. If you use Tandem Mode, choose the Mac under DJ Source in the connection setup.

The Traktor adapter replaces its D2 CSI mapping. If you use a Kontrol D2, read the backup and restore instructions in TandemDJ before installing the adapter. Traktor updates may require reinstalling it.
